“A book is not only a friend, it makes friends for you. When you have possessed a book with mind and spirit, you are enriched. But when you pass it on you are enriched threefold.”

Henry MillerThe Books In My Life (1969)

The Library, in collaboration with the Student Development Office, launched the Book Crossing program with the aim of fostering a love for reading. Let's work together to create a campus rich with the scent of books, where the beauty of knowledge shines through its sharing.

We invite you to donate a book you have finished reading to the library service counter at Songhu Library (Temporary), where they will be recorded and stamped by the library, and then placed on the book crossing shelves located at the lift lobby on the first level of student dormitory 2, 3 and 4 for others to enjoy. Unofficial publications or books with ideological issues should not be submitted. Please be advised that books donated for book crossing will not be incorporated into the library’s collection. Additionally, there is a risk of these books being lost during the book crossing. After reading it, you can return it to continue its journey or keep it to enjoy at your own pace.
