About the Library
City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) Library was established in 2024 as a landmark building for the university. It stands tall at the intersection of the two campuses, making it easily accessible for students and staff from all corners of the campus. This design reflects the university's emphasis on knowledge exchange and academic collaboration, not only bridging the two parts of the campus geographically but also serving as a nexus between academia and culture.
The library offers an exceptional study environment and ample academic resources for our university's students and staff. With approximately 1450 seats, it provides a spacious and cozy atmosphere for reading and learning. The current collection includes approximately 70,000 volumes of Chinese and foreign print books and about 350,000 volumes of electronic books, spanning diverse disciplines to cater to the diverse needs of our users. Moreover, the library subscribes to databases, e-journals, and a continually expanding array of electronic and multimedia resources, adapting to the demands of the digital age, and offering a wealth of information for their teaching, learning, and research.

About the Temporary Library Space
The temporary Library, serving as a transitional facility for the City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) library, is located in the Block 7, which is the Amenities Center of the university. To meet the needs of students and staff for their study and research, the temporary library provides a comfortable and quiet learning environment with sufficient resources and modern facilities. It has nearly 20,000 Chinese and foreign print books. The temporary library adheres to delivering excellent user-centered services as its core value, and is committed to providing a high-quality learning and research environment to our university's students and staff.
