City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) Library was established in 2024 as a landmark building for the university. It stands tall at the intersection of the two campuses, making it easily accessible for students and staff from all corners of the campus. This design reflects the university's emphasis on knowledge exchange and academic collaboration, not only bridging the two parts of the campus geographically but also serving as a nexus between academia and culture.

The City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) library holds a well-structured collection system, including 118,000 printed books and over 1.4 million e-books. We also subscribed 51 Chinese and foreign language journal databases, fully supporting teaching, research, and learning needs. The library offers more than 1,200 seats, providing readers with a spacious and comfortable environment for reading and study. The collaborative study space and immersive study space provide diverse learning environments that accommodate both interactive discussions and immersive reading. Two media theatres offer an immersive audio-visual experience, supporting learning resource playback, film appreciation and small cultural events. The cultural and art room integrates functions of exhibition and creation, hosts activities such as calligraphy and Chinese painting classes, art exhibitions and creative workshops, fostering artistic perception and innovative thinking. The creative space is equipped with 3D printing facilities, serving as a platform for hands-on practice and innovative design. The modernized lecture hall has contained advanced audio-visual systems, serves as an ideal venue for academic lectures, seminars and various big events, and providing a high-standard experience for teaching, research and academic exchange. Supported by concealed ceiling-mounted security gates, the touchless access system offers a humanized service that balances the convenient access for students and staff, and the security of library resources, also provides a non-interference and efficient entry experience for teaching and daily study.
