3D Printing Reservation

To meet the diverse needs of teachers and students across the university in scientific research, course practice, and creative design, our library has integrated existing equipment resources and officially launched a 3D printing service reservation channel. To ensure fair and orderly service and improve equipment utilization efficiency, the specific reservation process, usage regulations, and related notices are as follows:

Service Location: Maker Space, 2nd Floor of the Library;

Reservation Review Email: library_noreply@cityu-dg.edu.cn;

Available Machines: Raise3D E3, Raise3D Pro3 Plus, Bambu Lab H2D;

Eligible Users: Registered students and faculty on campus。

1. Reservation Rules
Access the reservation page via the link above; reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. Public holidays: reservations are suspended. A maximum of 2 reservations per week, with each session lasting no more than 5 hours. After reserving, submit the 3D model file for printing to the designated email for review. Only STL format files are supported, and the file should include an estimated material usage and printing duration for this print. The system will review submissions within 2 working days; upon approval, a “Reservation Successful” email will be sent. To cancel or modify a reservation, campus users must do so at least 24 hours in advance through the platform. Failure to make timely changes or show up for the scheduled print will be considered a “no-show.”
