Others | 20 | 60 days | 120 days |
Notes:
When the due time for 4-hour loans falls into a time period when the Service Counter is closed, the due time will be extended to the opening time the next day the Circulation Counter is open.
2、Renewal
A user can renew a borrowed item before it is due, and the due date will be extended by one borrowing period from the date of renewal. However, if the loan period reaches its maximum, or if the borrowed item is on call, you cannot renew the item. Course textbooks are not for renewable.
3、Requests
A user can request an item if it is out on loan. A message will be sent to you when the item comes back to the library and is ready for you to pick up at the Service Desk by presenting the email. The library will keep the item at the Service Desk for a maximum of three days. Textbooks cannot be requested.
4、Recalls
1. All open-shelf books can be recalled. Books that are recalled cannot be renewed.
2. When a recalled book is not due, the system automatically sends a courtesy recall notice. The user should return the book as soon as possible after use. If the recalled book is not returned 7 days after the due date, the user's borrowing privilege will be suspended.
5、Overdues
1. When an open-shelf book is overdue for 7 days, the user's borrowing privilege will be suspended. The user can borrow books again only when overdue items are returned.
2. When a textbook is overdue, the overdue fines will be charged at a rate of RMB 1 Yuan per item per hour, and the user's borrowing privilege will be suspended. The borrowing privilege will be resumed only when overdue items are returned, and the payment of fines is made.
6、Damaged or Lost
1. Users are expected to cherish library materials. In cases where an item is found severely damaged, including but not limited to markings on pages or missing pages, the library reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary actions, which may include issuing a warning letter, suspending borrowing privileges, and purchasing a replacement copy of the same edition as deemed necessary.
2. After losing a library material, users should promptly report it to the library service desk. When the lost item is confirmed to be unrecoverable, if an identical edition (same title, same author, same publisher) or a new and authentic book acceptable by the library can be purchased, the purchased book may be returned to the library as a placement. When a new copy cannot be bought, the user has to pay for the loss, and the rate is three times the price of the lost item.
3. If the library material is overdue when the user reports its loss to the library service desk, the overdue fee will be calculated up to the date of the report.
