Library Database Resources

We are pleased to inform you that, after a trial period last semester and further testing and configuration earlier this year, a list of databases the library has subscribed to for 2025 are now officially in use. These databases were selectedand acquired based on academic disciplines and recommendations from the professors and researchers of the university. We hope these resources can meet your needs for learning, teaching, and research.

Database is an important part of the library's electronic collection. These e-resources include e-journals, e-books, theses and dissertations, abstracts and indexes, dictionaries, and more. You can find the list of databases that the library subscribed to and are on trail on the library website (click here to view). They are arranged in alphabetical order from A to Z. We also caterigied them by content type, discipline, and language.

By clicking on a database title, you can see details about the database and access links. If it is a trial database, the trial period is displayed at the bottom of the page. Some databases may come with user guides/operation documents as attachments. Clicking on the "Access Database" link to go to the database website.

All types of databases provide a wealth of resources. For example, SuperStar Digital Library procides access to more than 310,000 Chinese e-books for us; in the Springer Nature journal database, we subscribed to nearly 2,000 journals from its entire collection, with more than 12,000 journal articles added each month. To make the search for specific information easier, a database generally provides navigation, advanced search functions, and filtering features. Please make good use of the user guide, or look up the database's help documentation (usually at the top or bottom of the webpage) when needed.

To access database resources, ensure you are connected to the campus network within the authorized IP range. Full-text access may be unavailable if the library's trial period has ended or if the resource falls outside our subscription scope. To safeguard intellectual property rights, use library-subscribed databases exclusively for personal learning, teaching, or research. Please adhere to all applicable laws and regulations when using these resources. Misuse may result in IP blocking, disrupting access for other campus users, and could lead to legal consequences in severe cases.

The library's unified discovery platform, Primo, enables cross-database searches and includes access to open access resources.

Welcome to using the library's database resources. We look forward to your valuable feedback.
