Essential Science Indicators

Essential Science Indicators™ (ESI) is an analytical research tool built on the Web of Science Core Collection (SCIE/SSCI), offering quantitative analysis of scientific performance and trends over a 10-year rolling period. It identifies influential nations, institutions, papers, journals, and research frontiers across 22 disciplinary fields, with data updated every two months. It empowers decision-makers, researchers, and research managers to analyze output and impact, discover emerging research trends, and assess potential collaboration partners.
