Dear all, 

To support your summer reading plans and assist with our upcoming move to the new library builiding, we hereby announce adjustments to our loan policies and a special relocation event.

1.Extended Loan Period

All books borrowed from the Song Lake Library (Temporary Library) currently have their return deadlines suspended. Borrowed items should be returned to the Main Library after relocation. Specific due dates will be announced once the relocation is complete. No overdue fines will be charged during the relocation period.

2.“Borrow to Support Relocation” Gift Campaign

To encourage your support in relocating books from the Song Lake Library (Temporary Library) to the Main Library, we are launching a special borrowing reward Campaign. Details are as follows:

Campaign Period: Now until 22 June 2025 

Rules: You will be awarded with a Library tote bag at checkout if you borrow 5 books or more in a single transaction from the Song Lake Library (Temporary Library) during the event period.

Important Notes 

Original loan periods will resume for books borrowed on and after 13 July 2025. Please return items by their standard due dates. All currently borrowed books need not to be returned till further notice. All returns must be made exclusively at the Main Library. The Song Lake Library (Temporary Library) will no longer accept returns. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
