Dear Readers,

Every book in the library is a treasure, tempered by years, just like amber refined through time. What is the precious amber-like book in your heart? To enrich campus reading resources, build a platform for teachers and students to read and share together, and discover more high-quality classic books, the Library hereby launches the "Treasured Reads: Amber Book Collection" reading solicitation campaign. We sincerely invite all readers to participate actively in this literary journey, sharing your favorite amber-like books with fellow pursuers of knowledge.

I. Eligibility
All students, faculty and staff of City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan)

II. Submission Content & Requirements

Book Requirements: Books of all themes and categories are accepted, as long as they aligh with core socialist values and promotepositive and uplifting messages.

Submission Content: Each recommendation shall include basic book information (title, author, publisher), reasons for recommendation, or personal reading insights.

Content Standards: Submissions shall be sincere,  well-articulated, original and heartfelt. The recommended word count is 200-500 words. Content should fit the campus reading atmosphere and convey the power of reading.

IV. Campaign Rewards & Honors
Each accepted contributor will be awarded a set of bespoke library bookmarks. Outstanding contributors will be invited to join our subsequent handwritten recommendation and video recording sessions. Selected book recommendations will be featured in the Library’s Amber Book Collection.

A good book is a lifelong friend through time; a heartfelt insight acts as a bridge that connects souls. We look forward to your sharing of the precious reads in your heart, letting more amber-like treasures circulate on campus and filling every youthful moment with the fragrance of books.
