On the morning of June 24, our university library held a book donation ceremony to receive books donated by Dongguan Forestry Bureau. Ms. Huang Liming from the Dongguan Forestry Bureau and Mr. Wu Bo from the Songshan Lake Natural Resources Bureau came to our campus to send the books. Ms. Du Juan, the university librarian, accepted the donation on behalf of the university.

The donation consists of 15 forestry-related books, including valuable local publications such as Flora of Dongguan, Rare Plants of Dongguan and other regional publications. This collection systematically documents Dongguan’s plant diversity, forest ecosystems, and wildlife resources, serving as a special collection to support research on local ecological environments.

This contribution enriches our library’s local literature resources. The library warmly welcomes further book donations from all sectors of society to support teaching and research endeavors.
